A portable ultrasonic gas flowmeter designed to measure flow without penetrating the pipe, making it ideal for quick, safe, and non-intrusive gas flow monitoring. Using advanced transit-time ultrasonic technology, it delivers accurate flow measurement for a wide variety of gases—including natural gas, compressed air, fuel gases, and corrosive or high-purity gases—across a range of pressures and pipe materials.
Its clamp-on design allows installation in minutes without shutdown, eliminating downtime and reducing installation costs. With no wetted parts or moving components, it ensures reliable performance with virtually no maintenance while avoiding pressure drops in the process.
The PT878GC is highly portable and versatile, combining lightweight construction, rechargeable battery operation, and built-in data logging. It is well-suited for temporary measurements, system diagnostics, and flow verification in demanding industrial environments where traditional intrusive meters are not practical.
