The 1311-DR is Panametrics’ highest-performance chilled mirror sensor, designed for ultra-low frost point measurement beyond the reach of standard two-stage sensors. Its four-stage thermoelectric cooling delivers up to 95 °C of mirror depression in air-cooled operation (at 25 °C), enabling measurement down to −65 °C dew/frost point. With optional liquid cooling, this extends to 105 °C of depression and −75 °C capability.
Like all Panametrics chilled mirror sensors, the 1311-DR delivers primary, fundamental humidity measurement with an accuracy of ±0.2°C, and an optional ±0.15°C dew/frost point specification and standard NIST-traceable calibration.
The sensor is fully interchangeable with other Panametrics chilled mirror sensors and integrates with Optica and OptiSonde analysers. It features infrared condensate detection and field-replaceable mirrors, with rhodium-plated copper as standard and solid platinum available as an option. Designed for demanding environments, it is rated up to 22 bar (300 psig).
In air-cooled mode: −65°C to +25°C dew/frost point at 25°C ambient. In liquid-cooled mode (15°C cooling water): −75°C to +15°C dew/frost point.
In air-cooled mode, the four-stage TEC achieves 95°C of mirror depression (measuring to −65°C). Adding a liquid cooling jacket (15°C cooling water) increases depression to 105°C, extending the range to −75°C. Liquid cooling requires an external cooling water supply at 15°C or below.
Annual calibration is recommended for optimal accuracy and performance.
Standard accuracy is ±0.2°C. An enhanced accuracy option of ±0.15°C is available. Repeatability is ±0.05°C. Calibration is NIST-traceable as standard.
