The DewPro MMR series provides reliable, cost-effective moisture measurement for industrial processes. All models use our relative humidity, polymer sensor for fast response and long-term stability, with loop-powered 4–20 mA output, rugged IP67 enclosure for indoor or outdoor use, and an optional integral display. The three models differ in measurement capability, temperature range, and hazardous-area approvals.
The MMR30 is a compact, economical solution for refrigeration and compressed air dryers, measuring dew point from −15 °C to +85 °C. It mounts directly to the process with integrated filtration and flow control, making it ideal for OEM and single-point monitoring.
The MMR31 expands measurement to relative humidity, absolute humidity, and mixing ratio, with an insertion probe design and optional temperature output. It supports field recalibration and is available with explosion-proof approvals, making it suitable for a wider range of industrial and hazardous applications.
The MMR101 is designed for high-temperature processes up to 150 °C. It provides dual 4–20 mA outputs for moisture and temperature, with a long probe and broad hazardous-area certifications for demanding environments.
All three are loop-powered DewPro moisture transmitters sharing the same polymer capacitive sensor, 4–20 mA output, and Type 4X/IP67 enclosure. The MMR30 is a compact dew point transmitter for dryers (single parameter, flow-block mount). The MMR31 adds RH, absolute humidity and mixing ratio measurement, an insertion probe, optional temperature output, and a hazardous-area option. The MMR101 is the high-temperature model (to 150°C) with a platinum RTD, dual isolated outputs, and the most extensive FM/ATEX approvals.
Choose the MMR30 for compact, economical dew point monitoring on refrigeration or compressed air dryers, especially OEM integration. Choose the MMR31 for multi-parameter process humidity measurement up to 85°C, including hazardous areas. Choose the MMR101 when your process runs hot (up to 150°C), you need temperature as a standard output, or you require extensive FM/ATEX certification.
The MMR101 carries the most extensive approvals: FM intrinsically safe, explosion-proof, non-incendive and dust-ignition-proof across Class I, II, III, Divisions 1 and 2, Groups A–G, plus ATEX II 3G. The MMR31 offers FM XP-IS Class 1, Div. 1, Groups A–D. The MMR30 datasheet lists no hazardous-area approval.
The MMR30 and MMR31 are rated to 250 psia (17 bar). The MMR101 is rated to 150 psi (10.2 bar) — a tradeoff for its high-temperature capability, so check pressure requirements when selecting the MMR101.
The MMR101 provides temperature as standard via a dedicated second isolated 4–20 mA loop (±1.1°C, platinum RTD). The MMR31 offers temperature via an optional patented second loop (±0.5°C). The MMR30 does not provide a temperature output.
MMR30: 316 SS flow block (1/2 in NPT-M or G 1/2) with a 2-micron filter. MMR31: adjustable 316 SS insertion probe (75–150 mm) with a 100-micron filter. MMR101: 400 mm 316 SS probe (80–362 mm adjustable) with a 40-micron filter and 316 SS cap.
